Haldia- Gadiara

Mayachar, an expansive sandbank on the Rupnarayan River, is another wonderful tourist attraction of Gadiara. Here, on the isolated beach, one can relax and have a great time without being greeted with the sea of humanity which is a regular but annoying occurrence at most of the so-called famed beach destinations of India.

Watching the sunrise and sunset at the confluence of the rivers at Gadiara is yet another attraction of the place. The enchanting tourist destination of Gadiara has fishermen’s village in its neighborhood. It also has numerous eateries, hotels and lodges where one can eat and stay while on a visit to the place.
