Leh is the capital of Ladakh situated at an altitude of 45110 S q.Km. surrounded by Pakistan,west China, Soth east Himachal Pradesh. Main Attractions of Leh

Ladakh : This place is bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Karakoram and the great Himalayas. Here you will find snow-covered peaks.

Zanskar : Here you will find two small alpine lakes surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

Sankar Gompa : This is 3 km north of the town center is one of the most accessible monasteries in central ladakh .Currently it is restricted to tourists.

Shanti Stupa : This stupa stands for "World Peace" built by a Japanese who like to spread Buddhism across the world in 1985 with the help of Japenese Government.

Namgyal Tsemo Gompa : This Gompa was built in 1430 AD by King Tashi Namgyal on Namgyal Tesmo Peak that overlooks town. Here you will find a three-story highsolid gold idol of Maitrieya Buddha and one-storied statue of Manjushri and Avalokestesvara along with ancient frescoes and manuscripts. The fort above the gompa is ruined but the views of Leh from here are breathtakingly beautiful.
