
An ancient town in the lap of Kullu Valley surrounded by towering peaks. Manali's major asset is that it is close to snowline. It is a popular honeymoon destination and ideal adventurous spot for trekkers. Manali literally means the "Home of Manu". Manu a Mythlogical character who is supposed to have survived the worlds from drowned in flood. Manali is a sacred place and treated as a pilgrimage.

Heli Skiing : This sport is popular here because of high Mountain. You can enjoy this sport in the area like Hanuman Tibba, Chanderkhani, Pass, Deo tibba and Rohtang Pass.
Hidimba Devi Temple : This is one of the most famous four storey temple of the region. Located in the middle of forest named as the Dhungiri Van Vihar.
Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa : This is near to the Tibetan area. This Gompa was built by the Tibetan refugees in the late 1960's. It is covered by coloured frescoes and Buddhist statue.
Manali Sanctuary : This sanctuary is located in District Kullu's nearest town, Manali. It is notified on 26th February 1954, under the Punjab birds and wild animals Protection Act 1933.
Naggar : This is a lovely village surrounded by forests . In the 16th century it was the capital of Kullu Valley.
Nehru Kund : This is a spring named after the Late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Here you will find crystal clear, cold water and is 6km from Manali.
Tibetan Temple : In Manali, Tibetians have their base that is so you will find modern Tibetan temples and small handicraft centers.
