Saputara, Gujarat
Saputara This is a dense wooded, beautiful hill station situated in the "Dang" district of southern tip of Gujarat at an attitude of 873m above the sea level.

Saputara is well known for its wildlife excursion tours. Some of its popular tours are Botanical Garden, Mahal forests, Jambalaya, Unnai Mata Mandir, Saptashringi DeviMandir, Hatgadh fort, Girmal Falls.

Beside all this there are some other worth-watching places to enjoy your vacations like Saputara Lake, Boating club, Forest Log huts, Honey Bees Centre, Museum, Purna Sanctuary, Hatgadh Fort, Nageshwar Temple.

Main Attractions of Saputara

Ahwa : Here tourists come to enjoy the fast paced and Acrobatic Dangi Dance. This is one of the most entertaining dances of this region. It held at the open-air theatre Rangupvan.

Dangs Darbar : This is an annual colourful tribal festival held prior to Holi. In this festival there is a custom to give political pension to tribal kings. Number of tourist come this place to participate in this festival.

Saputara Lake : This is located right in the heart of the valley where row and paddleboats are available on hire.

Sunset View Point : From here you can see the lovely view of the sunset over the entire valley.

The Ropeway : This is a comfortable and ideal coupe for a family. The view from the halt midway is truly breathtaking.

Gandharvapur Artist Village : Here tourist can find pretty pieces of pottery, vases, paintings, jewelry, pen stands, and key chains all made from bamboo chips and other locally found material. Children on their vacation can learn to make simple items in the workshop organized by the craftsmen.
