Nagaland - land of festivals OR A world of its own

Nagaland is an amazing tourist destination and is positioned in the North East, India. This lovely state shares its border with three Indian states. Intanki Wildlife Sanctuary: The sanctuary is pretty rich with a variety of flora and fauna. It houses many types of animals and bird species. This includes some rare species of birds.

Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary: The sanctuary -- located in the Pungro circle headquarters -- is near the Myanmar (Burma) border. The Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary receives high rainfall and is home to numerous varieties of flora and fauna which makes the place a hot tourist attraction.

How to reach Nagaland

By Air: Dimapur, which has a domestic airport, is well connected to some of the main Indian cities, including Kolkata and Guwahati.

By Rail: The Railway Station of Dimapur connects the state to Guwahati, which, in turn, is well linked to all chief cities of the nation.

By Road: While a lovely network of roads connects Kohima to Shillong and Guwahati, other cities and towns of the state are connected to Kohima.
