Overview:

The Resorte Santa Monica is located at Porait at Calangute in North Goa. The Dabolim airport and Thivim railway station are a 45 minute drive away, while the Calangute bus stop is within walking distance from the hotel. The Calangute beach is a 15 minute walk away.

At a glance, Resorte Santa Monica looks like an apartment building. But on entering, a welcome sign awaits you. Some yellow and white coloured buildings stand surrounding the swimming pool. The reception block is located just at the entrance with a separate semi circular seating area on one side and the reception counter on the other. This block opens to the swimming pool.

Rooms
The hotel boasts of 34 Standard rooms and 6 Studio rooms. The Standard rooms have a separate living room and a bedroom. The living room has white tiled floors with 2 wooden sofa chairs and a centre table in one corner and a dining table for 3 persons and a study table. There is an enclosed corner within the living room, where the fridge and a small sink are placed. The Studio rooms, on the other hand are compact, with white tiled floors, plastic chairs for sitting and a double bed. Besides this, facilities in both rooms include a cupboard, luggage storage area, intercom, satellite television, air conditioner, fan and an attached bathroom with a shower cubicle with hot and cold running water 24 hours a day. The bathroom amenities for both the rooms include soap, shampoo and clean towels.

Dining
The Rendezvous restaurant is located next to the swimming pool and offers a range of cuisines like Indian, Chinese, Continental and local and sea food as well. The restaurant is small with some outside seating area, next to the pool. The restaurant also has a small bar with a range of domestic and international liquor. There is a special bar-be-que, tandoori and sea food counter set up here during the peak season.

Facilities
The hotel offers a lot of facilities, mostly during the season. This includes live entertainment thrice a week like a music band, magic shows and folk dance. Besides this, the hotel offers a locker facility, currency exchange and travel assistance at the reception. The hotel also has a tailor shop called Vogue, a beauty salon called Jenny and a jewellery shop called Mustafa & Sons. The hotel also provides laundry service, housekeeping service, room service, conducts sightseeing or shopping trips and has a separate parking area as well.
