Anjuna beach is a mere half a kilometre from The Flushing Meadows Country Resort. The airport is 48 kms, Panjim city is 29 kms and the nearest rail junction, Thivim railway station is 30 kms.

Symbolic of The Flushing Meadows Country Resort, its emblem marks the main building of the vast premises in Anjuna. Secluded from the general hustle and bustle of Goa, on entering, potted plants line the path to the main building at the entrance, which houses the spacious reception and office. There are two villas within the premises that serve as room blocks. The main villa with its 20 Standard rooms also has a restaurant, rectangular swimming pool, conference hall, a games room and a health centre.

Facilities and Services
The conference hall in front of the restaurant can accommodate 100 people with ease. The games room and the health centre are on one side of the restaurant. The games room is endearing to guests with table tennis and pool tables. For those who want to sweat it out, the gym next to the games room is ideal, while the adjacent massage room and beauty parlour are also a treat.

Additional common facilities include a club house, safe deposit lockers, currency exchange, doctor on call, travel desk and complimentary transfers between Anjuna beach and Vagator beach in any one of the resort's two jumbo 20-seater air conditioned and non-air conditioned coaches.

The Flushing Meadows Country Resort also boasts of its fleet of 14 cars as well, which guests can use for sightseeing and shopping excursions at an extra cost.

A point to note, the hotel has its own de-chlorination and filtering water plant.

Room Amenities
The Standard rooms are simple with all the provisions to make you feel at home like a double bed, television, refrigerator, dressing table, telephone and cupboard. The attached bathroom comes with a shower area and is supplied with the basics like toilet paper, Ayurvedic soap and linen.

For those who would like to avail of all these facilities but enjoy more privacy, there is a second villa right next to the main one. It has a separate entrance, keeping guests unseen in their own private space. Walking through the private entrance, one is greeted with another pool, smaller than that in the main villa. There are 13 Suites in this villa with a ground floor housing a living room with a reclining chair, television, chairs and table and a telephone. The adjoining dining area has a small kitchenette with a refrigerator. There is also a common bathroom on this level. A staircase leading to the first floor takes you to any of the three bedrooms, of which two have attached bathrooms. The rooms are well furnished with a seating arrangement, double bed, cupboard and dressing table. Guests of the second villa can enjoy all the facilities and services offered at The Flushing Meadows Country Resort.

Dining
The Indian restaurant promises good tandoori, Goan and Continental delicacies with ample seating space. Done up in pristine white without any walls, it is a pleasant place to dine.
