Tripura - Near Water OR Hill Tippera OR Tripura Sundari OR The land of Sachin Dev Burman

The lovely Indian destination of Tripura is tucked away in a corner of the northeastern part of the country. It is nestled in the lush greenery of hills, green valleys and transparent waterscape. This relatively lesser explored state of the country attracts discerning visitors from practically all over the world. Its traditional art, culture, music, history and archaeology, flora and fauna, biodiversity and meadows simply hypnotize those visiting it.

The state capital Agartala is a small storehouse of rich cultural diversity and historical worth. This is mainly because it is pretty near the Indo-Bangladesh border, which is just two kilometers away.
